This is a song about people who wish they could escape. All around is the world that says you should not be yourself. It makes us think that we have to give in to what the world says. We have to be the perfect person, when in reality that lifestyle seems to make us more miserable. “I remember: feeling low…losing hope…all the feelings and the day they stopped.” We need these feelings to stop. We need to remember the worth we have based on who we are, not who the world thinks we should be.
